This popular combination can assist women in relieving symptoms associated with menstruation, such as relieving pain and cramping.

Raspberry was first mentioned in Chinese medical literature in 550AD. It has traditionally been a remedy to relieve painful menstruation. It contains a high concentration of tannins, which contribute to its ability to relieve diarrhoea.
Dong Quai is considered one of the primary herbs used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It can help to relieve muscle spasm, and has also been found to provide support to the nervous system.
The actions associated with Ginger include carminative (assists to relieve flatulence), anti-spasmodic and stimulant to the circulation. It has been used to help relieve nausea, and may also be of assistance in relieving spasms of the reproductive system.
Marshmallow has a long history of use around the world. It has a high mucilage content, contributing to its demulcent or soothing effects on the mucous membranes. It also has been shown to have a diuretic effect.
Black Cohosh is a well-known herb for the female reproductive system. It is used for a range of different conditions of this system, including assisting to relieve pain that may be associated with menstruation.
Blessed Thistle is a bitter herb that can be used to support digestion. It also has a use in the female reproductive system, assisting milk production in lactating mothers, as well as helping to relieve the pain of menstruation.
Eupatorium purpureum has traditionally been used for its range of actions, including diuretic, astringent, tonic and anti-inflammatory. It has been used to provide relief from a variety of conditions associated with the female reproductive system, including mild fluid retention.

Therapeutic Use
Herbs that have traditionally been used in Western Herbal Medicine that act on the female reproductive system by reducing spasm and aiding menstruation. Marshmallow and Eupatorium purpureum have been included for their diuretic effect.

Rubus idaeus (Raspberry) leaf 79mg
Angelica polymorpha (Dong Quai) root 71mg
Zingiber officinale (Ginger) rhizome 53mg
Althaea officinalis (Marshmallow) root 36mg
Cimicifuga racemosa (Black Cohosh) root 36mg
Cnicus benedictus (Blessed Thistle) herb 36mg
Eupatorium purpureum leaf 36mg

Dosage
For adults: take two capsules with a meal three times daily. It is recommended this product be taken 7-10 days before menstruation and until symptoms subside.

Caution
Always read the label. If symptoms or fluid retention persist seek medical advice. Not to be taken during pregnancy. Black Cohosh may harm the liver in some individuals. Use under the supervision of your healthcare professional.
