This combination of herbs has an affinity for the female reproductive system, providing a tonic effect, as well as supporting the adrenal glands.

Black Cohosh possesses emmenagogue, anti-spasmodic and sedative properties. It has traditionally been used for dysmenorrhoea and for symptoms such as hot flushes.
Liquorice is identified in the British Herbal Compendium as being adrenocorticotropic, meaning that it provides support to the adrenal gland. In addition it displays anti-inflammatory and demulcent properties, which make it useful to help relieve temporary coughs.
Eleuthero (formerly known as Siberian Ginseng) is considered an adaptogen. It was traditionally used as a tonic, particularly during debility and times of lowered resistance.
Sarsaparilla displays alterative and diuretic properties.
Squaw Vine is considered an emmenagogue, tonic and diuretic. It was traditionally used to help relieve dysmenorrhoea.
Blessed Thistle displays tonic and emmenagogue properties.
False Unicorn Root is listed in the British Herbal Pharmacopoeia as a uterine tonic, and can be useful for dysmenorrhoea and symptoms associated with menopause.

Therapeutic Use
The herbs Black Cohosh, Squaw Vine, Blessed Thistle and False Unicorn have traditionally been used to provide a tonic effect on the female reproductive system, and may be of particular benefit for the mature woman. Liquorice and Eleuthero both help support adrenal function and help the body deal with stress. Sarsaparilla acts as a diuretic in the formula.

Eleutherococcus senticosus (Eleuthero) root 62mg
Smilax officinalis (Sarsaparilla) root 61mg
Mitchella repens (Squaw Vine) whole plant 56mg
Cnicus benedictus (Blessed Thistle) herb 54mg
Chamaelirium luteum (False Unicorn) root 32mg

Dosage
For adults: take two capsules with a meal three times daily.
