Stevia is a naturally sweet herb and may be used as a substitute for sugar and artificial sweeteners.

Stevia has no effect on blood glucose levels so therefore can be used by diabetics and hypoglycaemics.

Stevia also has zero calories and zero carbohydrates, so is useful during weight reduction. Stevia can be useful in reducing cravings for sugar.

May be used in some recipes during cooking; may be added to hot beverages, freshly squeezed citrus juice or desserts to enhance sweetness.

Contains no sugar, artificial colours or flavours.

Stevia is approximately 200 times sweeter than sugar, so only a very small amount is required.
